Stories from TDX 2025

When Every Second Counts: Inside Team Agent Halo’s Winning Run

Team Agent Halo pulled off an incredible feat at the TDX Agentforce Hackathon, turning a simple idea into a prize-winning project under the wire.

Their project? A network of AI agents that take care of tasks like coordinating emergency response, planning trips, and handling customer support, so users can focus on what matters, not paperwork.

What made their entry stand out was how they told their story.

Instead of relying only on a short demo video, they added a 20-page slide deck that showed:

  • The user’s step-by-step experience
  • How the system works behind the scenes
  • Plans for future improvements
  • Why this tool helps Salesforce and its customers

They kept their answers clear and focused on two questions:

How does this help a business?

How does it match Salesforce’s goals?

With their final demo and slides submitted just in time, they took home the top prize.

Big Vision Beats Perfect Code: Takeaways from Kudosforce

I just devoured Andy Engin Utkan’s recap of the Agentforce Hackathon at TDX 2025, and wow—this isn’t your average “here’s what I did” post.

It’s a survival guide for anyone brave enough to dive into a high-stakes tech sprint.

The Gist

Imagine 28 hours of caffeine-fueled chaos in San Francisco. Teams of five (max!) building AI agents that could transform customer service, sales, or marketing—all using Salesforce’s Agentforce.

Andy’s team, Kudosforce, pulled off something slick: an AI tool that slurps up customer reviews, spits out instant feedback, and sends clear next steps straight to Slack. No wonder they walked away buzzing (and not just from the free coffee).

Gold Nuggets from Andy’s Brain

  • Ideas > Perfection: Judges care more about “big vision” than flawless code. Fake it ’til you make it!
  • Study the winners: Past hackathon projects are public. Stalk them. Learn what makes judges swoon.
  • Demo like a TED speaker: That 5-minute video? It’s your golden ticket. Nail the storytelling.
  • Team chemistry 101: Align before the clock starts. Roles matter—who’s coding? Who’s pitching? Who’s stress-eating snacks?

Learn from NYC’s Projects

The recent New York City hackathon produced several standout projects. Reviewing their work can spark ideas and clarify what judges seek:
